WhatsApp has introduced a feature that allows you to automatically block spam calls on its platform. Dealing with spam can be quite annoying, so this feature can help keep your WhatsApp experience more streamlined. Here’s how you can enable automatic spam blocking:

How to block spam callers on WhatsApp

Note: We took the following screenshots on an iPhone X, but the steps should be extremely similar on Android.

Step 1: Open WhatsApp Settings

On your device, open the WhatsApp app and click on “Settings”.

Step 2: Go to Privacy Settings

In the Settings menu, select the “Account” option, then choose “Privacy”.

Step 3: Tap calls

Scroll down and click on calls

Step 4: Toggle on Silence Unknown Callers

Now simple toggle on Silence Unknown Callers.

Once this feature is enabled, WhatsApp will automatically block spam calls from an unknown number’s.
