How to Install iTunes on Windows

Apple iTunes is the best way to migrate data between your Apple devices and your Windows-based PC. In Windows 10 and 11, download iTunes from the Microsoft Store. In Windows 8 or Windows 7, the download is available from Apple.

Here’s how to install iTunes on Windows:

1. Download iTunes from Apple’s Website:

• Open your web browser and go to https://www.apple.com/itunes/.

• Click the “Download Now” button. The download will start automatically.

2. Run the Installer:

• Once the download is complete, locate the iTunes setup file (usually a .exe file) in your Downloads folder.

• Double-click the file to run the installer.

3. Follow the On-Screen Instructions:

• The iTunes installer will guide you through the installation process.

• Click “Next” or “Install” to continue.

• Accept the terms of the license agreement.

• Choose the installation location if you want to change it from the default location.

4. Complete the Installation:

• The installer will copy the necessary files to your computer and install iTunes.

• Once the installation is complete, click “Finish.”

5. Launch iTunes:

• iTunes should launch automatically. If not, you can find it in your Start menu or on your desktop.

Additional Tips:

• Internet Connection: You need an internet connection to download and install iTunes.

• System Requirements: Make sure your Windows computer meets the system requirements for iTunes. 

• Previous Versions: If you have a previous version of iTunes installed, the installer will prompt you to uninstall it before installing the latest version.
