If you’re encountering the error message “We can’t activate Windows on this device as we can’t connect to your organization’s activation service” along with error code 0xc004f074, you may be unable to activate your Windows operating system. This issue can occur on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs.

In this blog post, I’ll guide you through a quick solution to resolve the Windows activation problem.

1. Click on the Search icon and type “CMD” in the search bar.

2. When you see Command Prompt in the search results, right-click on it and select “Run as administrator.”

3. If prompted by the User Account Control (UAC) dialog box, click “Yes” to proceed.

4. In the Command Prompt window, enter the following command: slmgr /skms kms8.msguides.com and press Enter.

This should help you fix the activation issue.

After entering the first command, a Windows Script Host dialog box may appear with a message. Once you’ve done that, check if the issue is resolved. If not, you can try the next method:

In the Command Prompt window, type or copy and paste the following command: slmgr /ato and press Enter.

This should display a message indicating that the product has been activated successfully. Hopefully, this will resolve your activation issue.
